Free In-Home Assessment
During this assessment we will advise you on what size Generac generator will best meet your electrical needs and budget. We will also advise you on the other details of the job, such as the circuits that will be used, the generator location, the ATS “Automatic Transfer Switch” location, and gas/electrical line details. After the assessment, you will be provided with a complete proposal including the quote/contract, specifications, warranties and guidelines to get started.
You’re Generac Generator Installation
This is a key area where W.K. Clough & Sons, Inc. distinguishes itself from others. The estimator you initially meet during your free in-home assessment will continue with your installation as the project manager. This means they’ll oversee the overall coordination and completion of your GENERAC generator installation. This is key to providing you with the best, stress free experience we can.
W.K. Clough & Sons, Inc. takes full responsibility to obtain all required permits from the local government. All work is inspected by the proper code enforcement inspector. All GENERAC generator installations are performed by Stewartstown Electrical Service electricians who are GENERAC certified. Once the installation is complete, we will register your unit, set up an exercise day and time, and go over all aspects of your GENERAC generator installation with you.
Annual Generac Generator Service & Support
Like your car or truck, generators need to be serviced regularly. We have a maintenance program for air-cooled, and liquid-cooled generators. The program is for one visit per year to keep the annual cost of ownership as low as possible while still maintaining your GENERAC generator in peak operational condition.
During the service visit we will change the oil and oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs. We’ll exercise the generator, test the rotor starter, check frequency, check voltage, check the electrical connections in the generator and the ATS, test the battery, top off fluids, clean the generator (inside and out), and provide you with documented results.
We will automatically enroll you in the annual service program and provide you with an annual service reminder just before the anniversary date of your GENERAC generator installation each year.

Generac Service after a Storm
If your GENERAC generator ran for more than 72 hours, 3 days straight, it is highly recommended to have the unit serviced. Remembering the car analogy should help. If you drove your car for 72 hours straight it would also need a service.
Generac Warranty Service
We are not done when we complete your GENERAC generator installation. We are not even done when we provide you with annual service. W.K. Clough & Sons, Inc. is the GENERAC Warranty Dealership for your area which means that unlike other companies that only install generators we stand behind our installation and provide the support for your generator year after year. All warranty claims are handled by W.K. Clough & Sons, Inc..
